Hi there,

I burnt a VERY important DVD yesterday, and now, when I try to access it, it reports as a blank DVD.

Nero says the disc is Unwritable
ISOBuster says its Blank
CDRoller Says its Blank too

But it isn't.

PLEASE help!!!

you must always check every dvd you write, and you should check it in different drive than the one you used for writing it. I always check mine. Full read helps

I had this type of problem before. When i burnt a disk with nero i could only ever read it on a pc that had nero on it. Xp would not read the disk. But your problem
is different as nero cant read it so sorry no solution from me.

i doubt its 100% unrecoverable, take a scroll through google

OK. Took it home and tried it with ISOBuster on my PC (DVD-RW Samsung), and was able to recover all data. Guess this proves Samsung drives are better than AOpens!

Yes, I've also experienced this problem on AOpen, Lite-On and Gigabyte drives using cerain discs (especially TDK discs). They just refuse to read certain discs (even if it was burnt by the exact same drive). The LG and Samsung drives that I've used have never given this problem thankfully and recommend them to everyone who asks. :)
