Blaupunkt don't sell in ZA so its a re-branded device. But i've found their TVs to be pretty reliable.

I think most of these boxes come from the same factory. Just with other stickers and branding etc...

You do know you can use Magisk to make any Android device Google Certified?
This is a rebranded MXQ device with very cheap RAM and wifi chips.
So it's going to have all kinds of problems and Blaupunkt won't be able to release any firmware updates as it comes from a no name factory that already discontinued the device.

I think that Pick n Pay has a 25% off promotion on some/all? Blaupunkt equipment until 5th May if that's of any interest. I saw an advert there the other day but I didn't look very carefully as I don't really need to buy anything right now. I'm not sure whether they sell the media players though.
