Bloem Fichartpark, authentication issues

My inlaws' router was working fine until loadshedding yesterday, not it's not authenticating with Afrihost or WebAfrica account. It does authenticate with telkom guest account.

Is anyone aware of issues in that area?

Hi

You can make sure the ADSL VPI: 8 and VCI: 35 is set correctly or vlan 835 for VDSL. These usually cause failed auth if not set correctly but the modem will sync. If they are and the modem is still syncing fine then it's probably NLD related and a no auth fault needs to be logged.

Modem is syncing, and guest account works, but not other ISP accounts. Unfortunately not managed by Afrihost, so they will have to log a fault. Thanks for the reply.
