The US Government is tightening the noose around the necks of bloggers stating that they will now have to receive a license to operate.

Bloggers must be licensed

I cant see this getting much love if it goes in front of the Supreme Court.

If our government had to pass this as law.. I would completely ignore it.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) argues that they need to have a hand in this industry to ensure that the public is protected from unscrupulous bloggers who for example may take freebies in exchange for reviews thereby providing tainted information.

And this is unique to blogging? And this little license solves the problem how, exactly?

What a load of crap...

Politicians must be licensed.

Better still, emasculated.

Now if this was China or Iran passing this law CNN and other news networks would be all over it but this is happening in the US so will properly just pass under the radar...

Its so far under the radar people in South Africa are discussing how stupid it is.. just like they would with Iran.. or most other countries in the ME.

The article is from prison planet not CNN, i.e not mainstream what the majority(sheeple) only watch.

FREEZE!!

Blog-license and registration please.

You left your blog-license in your wallet at home? A likely story!

Well I'm afraid I'm going to have to write you a ticket Mr. Doctrow.

Now now crying will not help anything we're doing this for your own good.
