Yesterday had my Vitality test BP was like 170 on left arm and 162 on right arm. No diamond status for me then.
Had a rough year emotionally and mentally, job loss, + not sticking to my meal plans. Still no excuse.
Today at my GP its 142 (which for me is normal - family history and stuff)... LOL - still on some light meds. Austell Amlodipine 5mg to get it even better.
They used that machine to measure and my doc used the classic old school.
Oddly enough I did the Cayenne pepper thing last night and finished it off this morning with 1 banana. Although sample is too small to be statistically relevant. Can't rule out NULL hypothesis.
Anyway we journey on.
When you go for these tests, do you just walk in, sit down, slap the cuff on and take a reading?
Or do you sit down, keep completely still for 5mins without even talking, and then take the reading?
