30, and no, no meds.
Last time I gone to the GP it was lot higher and he did not want me to leave the practice room.
It's hereditary, only family medical problem

yeah, great meds, lowers the BP quite fast and if I take it daily keeps it in check, also I have no side affects. I am on the 10/160/25 - which includes the diuretic. I was on the 5 and will probably go back to the 5 next dosage.
 
Running (sort of, stop start jog) 5km definitely does it for my BP. Last night was quite high, 145/98 this morning after the park run 79/53 - seeing spots again:D

Took my first one this morning and no noticeable side effects yet. So here's hoping it remains like that. Haven't checked my BP yet though.
 
Guys urgent question,

Tareg 80 has a diuretic in it.

Is there another BP med for high BP that doesnt have one in?
This medication can have serious side effects on your kidneys and having had kidney stones, surely I should not be on this ?
I also experience brain fog and other kidney issues and am trying to explain this to my doctor but he is hesitant to change the meds.

Some advice?
 
Yes. My doc told me there were about 500 different bp meds, offered to try several out.
The one we tried was a pure calcium channel blocker.

FK then I dont know, I am on the Tareg 80 and something definitely going on with Kidneys, the brain fog, black rings around eyes, urination frequency and flow.
Had bloods done some time back maybe need to redo them showed kidneys under a bit of strain

I've had family members that have been on the Pritor medication. Other than an initial short period that their system took to adjust to it, they're BP is well under control.
No side effects to report, although they were cautioned that down the line this medication may result in a minor dry cough.

I think most of these medications have that side effect
