Hey knowledgeable peeps,

Got me a new gfx card in December to replace the one that died but an odd thing keeps happening since it's install. About every 2 or 3 weeks I'll get a BSOD or 2 out of the blue, can be doing anything when it happens, it doesn't seem specific at all. So I did the Google thing after going through eventviewer and whatnot but if I'm honest, the answers are so varied it just does my head in and I'd rather just get some feedback from you lot ;)

Every time it's happened I've updated the driver but I'm starting to think it's not driver related. Card is a Gigabyte GTX1050, with latest drivers and it's avg temp is about 45c (55-60c under load), Windows 7 with 8gb ram and the last 2 error messages are:

0x00000050 (0xfffffa800c798000, 0x0000000000000001, 0xfffff88003ad1585, 0x0000000000000000)

0x00000050 (0xfffffa800a099000, 0x0000000000000001, 0xfffff8800530e585, 0x0000000000000000)

Any info is always welcomed guys, thanks :)

What PSU are you running? Also, what is the error message at the bottom, in addition to the code?

PSU is a Corsair 550W and as to the error message, that was just what I could pull from EventViewer because it won't create a dumpfile for nothing and it's too quick before the restart for me to take note :o

Quick question - have you updated all other drivers (mobo ?) ?

Have you done a ram check?
Have you checked for dust or any other loose connectors after you replaced the card? - Try moving your ram around to a different slot(s) if possible...

Did the ram check (memtest) and moved slots yep. Did a clean with compressed air on everything when I installed the new card, nothing loose I could find. Only thing not done is mobo drivers not updated. I'm leaning toward ram though because a helluva lot of those errors are ram reasons going by Google :(
