I think you'll want to start a new thread in the general mobile forums. I certainly haven't heard of them.

I had a consultant from Bluetech do a demo at my house with the unit. They sorted out the contract for me and everything was smooth sailing. ( I opted for the 3gb contract over 2 years, with the unit, and buy data as I need. I'm sure in time data prices will fall, hence not signing up for a big package contract )

This was after contacting the Telkom Mobile rep on MyBB asking for a LTE demo. The TM rep asked for my number and Bluetech contacted me.

We don't know that....how can you just assume that?

It might be a Telkom employee and his buddy doing something on the side.

As per other thread:

Also, looking at their business card, their head office is in Centurion. They must then have a branch down here in Cape Town too.

I have nothing to gain from promoting them, just stating what my experience was.

According to their website they are a Telkom Partner, and why would the TM rep get them to contact me?

Basically it's commission based, the rep will come and do the demo for LTE. If you take the package, you fill in the official TM paperwork etc.

I know because I was a rep.

TM was looking for reps there should be a thread on the forum, that's how I found out about it, after you apply you visit a Telkom office and they do an interview were they test your IT knowledge to see if you can be a rep.

I got great sales service from Bluetechretail when buying my telkom LTE....unfortunately misrepresentations were made by the representative and now I'm sitting with a unworkable LTE and a 3 year contract. The after sales support form Bluetekretail does not exist and its impossible to get hold of anyone there. I'm pretty infuriated with them and Telkom. Avoid Telkom and Bluetekretail and rather have a look a competitors products if you want to retain your sanity.
