Hi there and thank you for your help & advice.

Lenovo ideapad 100
Windows 10 Version 1703 Build 15063.632
Bluetooth Driver: 1.4.887.3011

I have this LT since beginning of this year. In March I paired a BT speaker with it which I used with iTunes. It worked perfectly well until about 2 weeks ago. When I hit the play button to start playing a song, it will not play at all. It also does not show that the time is ticking off. Nothing happens. Then I almost have to restart my LT for everything to work again. This must have happened after a Windows update or something.

I have since done about 5 recoveries with "one key recovery" in the hope of getting it working again. I have done this again today. Still nothing. I tested the speaker on my wife's HP LT and it worked perfectly first time. It picked it up immediately, paired and it worked straight away.

I battled to delete the device and took this screen shot where it shows that there is a problem with the driver.

I will really appreciate any help and suggestions I can get. Please help me getting the speaker to work again.

Thank you so long.

Have you tried doing a clean Windows reinstall? (not one key recovery)

Or just uninstall the Bluetooth driver and reinstall it with the driver from Lenovo's website.

Could be a Windows update that messed it up, happens a lot.

Thank you for your reply. I have uninstalled the device and installed a new driver but it did not help.

How do I do a clean install? I have not received a rescue disk or something like that. The only thing is the partition on the hard drive with the recovery files? I will definitely do a clean install if possible.

You can do it two ways.
1. Do a Windows refresh or reset, just type in the windows search refresh and it should be straightforward from there. A reset is better, but just choose the option that you are going to keep the laptop.

or

2. You will have to create a bootable disc or flash with the Windows 10 version you have. For that you can go here but will need your Windows Key to do it.
