Hi - does anyone know if there are/will be Bluetooth versions of the MyWireless modems, instead of the USB or PC Card ones.

I have a Powerbook, and Bluetooth is great in keeping the cables away [:)]
Thanks

Huh? The PCMCIA(or PC) card as you call it, fits into a notebook slot and has no cables.

What I'm after is a broadband wireless modem that has built-in Bluetooth; the PCMIA version isn't what I'm after as I need to keep options open as to where I'm using it - out and about with my laptop (which doesn't have a PCMIA slot), or with my desktop PC at home. Both machines have USB and Bluetooth, but I would prefer to connect the modem to my machine(s) using Bluetooth.

Bluetooth works fantastically for my mouse and keyboard, not having to worry about cables everywhere.

Ciao

IPWireless are releasing their modems on a single ASIC chip next year, so thereafter it's quite conceivable that bluetooth enabled cellphones and other devices can have the ASIC included.
