Good price for micro-filter, SMG charges a bit more for it. I only replace it every 3rd service which is the major service.

The bulbs can easily be bought from goldwagon and fitted yourself, recently did my brake lights and even my front xenon bulb

They also had special running until end of September for services, only cost me R1200 to service my 320D when I booked it in September, normally runs every year around the same time.

Normally it would be R1600.

That is not at all unreasonable considering the rest of the dealership experience.

So just had my front brake pad service ... and naturally they found wear on the brake discs and said those should be replaced too (although the car wasn't warning of that). That'll be R5 900, sir.

Oh well, was preparing for it. At least the car wash was excellent again

Its 1350 pads and 950 for discs at master parts and 350 for fitment btw

Yeah, considered this, but madness lies this way ... I don't know if I can trust generics or third-party workshops (read a good many horror stories online when I was researching some options), and I just know if anything went wrong I'd always think "What if..." So ja, I'm just treating this as school fees. Luckily should be clear now until rear pads need a service in 10000km ... so like end of the year.

You mean R650k before options... .Brakes seems cheap for the price! I need new tyres. 4x Potenza S001's RFT's.
AutoAtlantic want R1500 for fitting/balancing etc ..tyres are just shy of R10k. ouch. I think TWT had an online special for fitting etc... I will check that out
