BMW Chip Tuning

yep, all Saabs are turbocharged ;)

that Stage 0 remap is for stock standard internals, so no modifications whatsoever are required.

With modifications such as filter, spark plugs, turbo, exhaust, suspension, etc, a Vtuner Stage 2 takes it to 290kW :wtf:

Didnt realize all their cars were turbo charged. Learn something new everyday ;) Bloody swedes always need to make a point :D

God, can you imagine driving your car in as it is, and then driving it out with 290kW :O hahaha, that would be such an awesome feeling!

Did you know SAAB has closed down? Apparently there are companies that will carry spares for them, but can imagine it might make things a little expensive no?

Jah, am debating getting the Stage 0 remap. But maybe I will wait until it's out of motorplan - May 2013.

that's why I bought it in Feb. Brand new that car sold for R545K in 2008. With 41,000km on the clock, in mint condition and still under original maintenance plan, I got it for R209K :)

Spare as such are not really an issue - lots of online places, and most of the internals are the same from Opel/Chev/Vauxhaull.

Jeez thats a decent find! What SAAB model is it? **** i cant believe what you paid for that :O

I'd definitely wait until the motorplan runs out. A year will go past quicker than you think...

2008 9-3 Aero 2.8 V6 Convertible AT

Such a nice car! Except for the "AT" part  Driven a few AT's around and it just irritates me! I find myself shouting at the car to "FKING gear down, or FKING gear up!!!!" lol :D

Each to their own tho... Very nice car, i must say! and that V6 is nice n torquey!

Jah, I bought it as a weekend touring car, but find myself using it to go to work :)

I drive like a granny, but when I put foot in the Saab.... woooooosh, I'm gone :D

:D Now you see me... Now you dont :D

Had a similar thing a few years back where i got myself a nice custom sprayed bike and spent many hours working on the bike. Was also supposed to be a weekend thing to go to rallies with and breakfast runs etc, but ended up using it most of the time cos it was just that awesome to ride around with :P
