Oh but it's cheap bought mine from game for R69. Then they stand up straight and the yolk stay centre.

I love my egg boiler you can even decide how you like your egg done

But then again i am Miss Gadget

I have a kettle dedicated to egg-boiling. Put 4 eggs in it, hit boil (which lasts 2 minutes), hit boil again, let them sit for 3 more minutes, and voila... perfect eggs.

Tried this and had scrambled eggs in my kettle.... my kettle kept smelling like boiled eggs.

At Macro or game... but pick and pay and these places should have too. Hubby got it for me i was all whatever then i used it, one of the best kitchen gadgets ever!!! And if you are on a diet like me it's cool at work too...

There should be legislation prohibiting husbands/partners/SOs from buying "useful" gifts.

By its very nature, gifts should be extravagant and impractical, but beautiful to look at

If you (my so etc) buys me something impractical i would say thanx but no thanx its just a waste of money...

I like to have things i can use not things that look nice...

You miss the point. Two friends can also buy a property together. It has nothing to do with marital status. Should the friends part ways or have a fight, the effect is the same.

SA law does not recognise common law marriages.

It depends on what your agreement was when you bought the house and in whose name the property is registered.

Are the two of you responsible for 50/50 payment of the bond? If yes, the house must be sold and the profits - if any - split.

If your agreement was that one person alone owns and pays the house, the other one has no right to it.

In SA Law, you can live together for 100 years and the law stil does not recnogise it as marriage. NOTE: There is a Draft Bill on Domestic Partnerships out for comments and if/when this is enacted as law, it would address the issue of the legal recognition of the relationship of people who live together without being legally married.

Interesting, I use a few tea spoons of vinegar which yields the same results

To prevent eggs from cracking prick the rounded point of the egg with a needle or egg pricker/egg piercer.
