Hi guys
I hope someone can help. I need to install Windows 7 (to run some older software) on my Mid-2014 Macbook Pro. Even though the Bootcamp window, says "Install Windows 7 or later", it seems to only accept Windows 8.1 64bit and Windows 10 64bit.
I go through the whole process of creating the USB disk, but then when it wants to partition/start the install (still in OS Sierra), it complains about the USB Drive not having Windows 8.1 or higher on it.
Is there any way I can get it working? Perhaps run on older version of Bootcamp or something? The closest I got was to manually partition the disk, boot up with the Win7 USB and install it, but on the screen where I need to specify a PC name and Username, my keyboard won't work!
Thanks!
