Hi there

I have read tons of posts in various forums regarding this issue, and cannot seem to get this working:cry:

I am trying to open Ulaunch ELF on my scph 70004 ps2 slim (chip is installed - Im unsure which chip, but I am able to play home-burnt disk backups)

- I have formatted my usb drive (FAT32) and pasted the necessary folders for Ulaunch ELF on the drive, but when i put the usb in the ps2 - it gives the menu options "browser" and "configuration" - it doesnt see the usb

- I also tried burning the files to a CD-R (burn speed x 4) - and same thing - it doesnt boot it only says UNKNOWN DISK'

am I perhaps missing something in this process? or is it possible that which ever chip i have may allow me to play burnt backup games, but not boot capable?

The main point to all of this is that I would like to be able to play movies and videos on the usb stick for viewing on a "non usb port-old television" :)

Thank you :)

You know there is like a million Chinese sitting in a room somewhere painstakingly stitching every pixel into place when you play Playstation. I don't want them to be my animal of burden. In fact I am throwing my PS2 out the window as we speak.

You can't boot from a USB drive on the PS2, only from a memory card formatted with FreeMCBoot. If you can load backups then you should be able to launch UlaunchELF if you downloaded and burned a properly mastered ISO
