Hi all,

I'm getting the below error on my Bosch Series 2 dishwasher and I can't seem to find info on it anywhere, it just flashes this symbol. Has anyone experienced this?

I dont have this model dishwasher, so dont know what this error is. But looking at the pic, the ring you use to select the type of wash is not on any of the 4 options. That could be the issue

Oh I see what you mean.. will tell the wife to try this, going to be ticked off if this is the problem.. got phoned this morning in a panic saying I broke her dishwasher:ROFL:

You also need to check inside to see if the washer arms are stuck,. Some dishes may be in the way.

Also water pressure is something to check, mine gave an error whilst we were running a bath.

Another is to check that you closed the door properly.

I have the Wi-Fi version, so that at least helps with diagnosis.

whatever it is, you must be in the wrong, this is German engineering we're talking about, German engineering is never wrong!

EDIT: perhaps slightly more helpful, Google says blinking / flashing symbols on a Bosch dishwasher could be the flooding sensor i.e. there's still water somewhere where it shouldn't be or the sensor is faulty

What do you mean? This is literally explained in the manual.

It's not an error either, it's perfectly normal and it makes you wonder how you ever used it in the first place.

Add Salt and/or add Rinse Aid.

Or if you are using the tablet adjust the rinse said requirement (as per the manual again) so it doesn't trigger the alert.

Clearly you made absolutely zero effort if you can't find the standard alerts of every dishwasher out there.

I think he is talking about the timer flashing. Not sure what error that is - can't see it clearly.

I was not referring to the rinse aid and salt symbols as those are not errors they are just warnings, the machine would still run even if those are not addressed.

I was referring to the l:l symbol on the display that kept flashing.. but I went home now unplugged it loosened the water inlet cleaned it out and fitted it again and the error is gone so I assume water pressure/ hard reset from unplugging for 5 mins sorted it out l.

The error may not be I:I but actually error code 11, which would be a temperature sensor issue..

I've never used any of those after it ran out the first time.
Salt not needed as our water is fine.
I find my glassware looks way better when not using that (money making) crap known as "rinse aid".

;) ;)
