Bot attacking our server.

We have a bot shutting down our server every now and again. Presume it is trying to harvest our data base. This is what i have found http://www.projecthoneypot.org/ip_198.54.202.94 Is the ip addy i get. What to do? Thanks.

Doesn't your router have functionality to block IPs or stop flood attacks? If not maybe you should invest in one. If it is hosted at an ISP they should sort it out for you.

Smoothwall - can block incoming ip's.

And it's free - you just need a P2 or better with 256Mb RAM, and 4Gb HDD min.

Don't you have a hardware firewall protecting your sever from outside attacks??
