Orange is french owned hey? I did not even know they are in Botties. Would be interesting to know what the cellphone penetration is there. Botties is such a sparcely populated countrie with vast distances. Interesting how they could make such a deal profitable. *flame suit on* hehe.
 
From personal experience:

In Gabs it is beyond excellent.

Same holds for Kanye and Jwaneng which at best can be described as major villages with - I guess - less than 5 000 income generating people living there.

I guess it would be the same elsewhere.

Outside these villages reception is patchy, but when there is reception, one usually gets a very decent EDGE service.
