Hi guys

I went ahead and got that Explora, to add to my SD PVRI (yeah, I know I have to get a new one but just wanted to clear my viewing list first) -- but as soon as the Explora was connected, I lost BOTH my PVR's channels. Meaning, where I was supposed to be able to view an Explora channel and one PVR channel on TV1, and an added third PVR2 channel on TV2, I am currently only able to watch Explora.

No-one ever warns you you may be worse off if you buy new tech. And I do find it sus that the PVR stopped functioning as soon as the Explora was added. What I want to know is whether a balls-up in connections could have caused this, and whether there is a way to "isolate" my PVR to check if it is working without the Explora?

(I was indisposed during installation, or I would have asked these questions from the installers.)

Thanks in advance for any and all assistance. I am a dummy but I can follow instructions. :)

** Edited to add: Have obviously spent hours on the phone to DSTv. They reset the E32-4 error, only for it to be replaced by E18-4, and no PVR functionality. Then every now and then a huge Xtraview alert announcement covering most of the screen. But no TV.

Call the installer back. Without knowing your setup, we cannot determine a solution to your problem.
