nice for him but yeah... dunno about the weightclass...and also after that dubois performance, i dunno about Lerena.

Tough to say if he came to win, or just win that money

I doubt that low blow, those trunks were high.
Touch and go. Ref wasnt going to count on something that close,.
Usyk looked incredible in the beginning, but those body shots were causing issues, usyk got in his head and there were times where that lunching power could have done something.

When DDD started to gas it was all over. You can't not be quick and careful against usyk, and once he slowed, game over.

Better than the AJ fight by far

Agree. Dubois was robbed. This sport needs an overhaul.

Dubois has a serious punch on him, but he's definitely a KO specialist. Usyk is the better boxer IMO but Dubois could upset almost anyone at the moment. He hits hard.
 
Actually... now it looks more marginal to low....

I guess bottom line is DDB should not have given up at that point. I guess he puts everything in to the KO early on and ran out of steam.

I think that was the gameplan. He was never ever going to outbox Usyk, he needed a strong punch.
The punch was going up, the trunks were high, I dont know, I dont think its unfair the ref called low blow, he should have deducted a point. The time for recovery was quite long even when Usyk seemed ready.

Usyk was the better boxer by a mile, he complained after about low blows even though they were clearly not low, and I think DDD game plan was body shots like that. No one really hits Usyk in the head.
 
the rule of boxing is keep your punches above the belt line. below the belt line is an Illegal blow. should be called by the ref and the fight stopped to allow the fouled boxer time to recover.

Watch the fight again, usyks shorts are below his navel.

Just because in America, these punches go unnoticed for the benefit of their fighters doesn't mean that the rules of boxing since the dawn of time should be ignored.

The ref was right, and more refs need to take note of this.

Just tuned in and haven't seen Nina Agdal in the crowd but she apparently is there.

This could be to be the weirdest fight in the history of boxing.
