Nope. Still not working. The desktop app still says GET ACCOUNT when I try to pay with BoxOffice account and then it takes me to MY account with credit loaded onto it in my internet browser.

Do you understand my problem?

Hello.

I tried the new login details on the desktop app; I even uninstalled and reinstalled the app and tried again but it is still not working.
I still get the GET ACCOUNT button when trying to rent a movie.

Then they went silent, no response from them.

I'm still unable to rent movies through the desktop app because it keeps saying I need to create an account. I'm not going to rent movies on the website because my internet is not fast enough for streaming.

Please, if you can't solve this problem, don't ignore me, pay me back my money!

At the moment the player requires a user to activate an online BoxOffice account for rentals – no dstv subscription is needed and activation is free.

Users can activate their online BoxOffice account at:

I select the BoxOffice account option. But it says I need to create an
account and links to my account on my browser - which is loaded with credit.

Then, they went silent again.

I just emailed them again demanding a resolution of the issue.

This issue is only with the desktop player. I'm able to watch via the browser, but my internet connection is a bit poor, so it stops and load every now and again.

tl;dr = I can't watch movies on the boxoffice desktop player.

Anyone had a similar issue with the desktop player?
