Boy killed after being mistaken for monkey

They killing us...First it was a wild pig now our kids are mistaken for monkeys, Sparrow said it and they concurred with.

I don't think anyone would just shoot a kid just like that, unless he really thought it was a monkey in the tree. Doesn't make sense.

I'm not sure why everybody is this obsessed with race on this forum. Why does the race of either these people matter? Maybe it's good that it's not mentioned, now people can comment their opinions regardless of the race of those involved.

Just be careful next time you decide to go up a tree or crouch behind bushes.

Survival tips: 1)wear a reflective vest 2) assume the "vitruvian man" pose (before going up the tree) to make it easy for an observer to visually ascertain proportion of your "wing span" to your height 3) don't wear grey clothes under any circumstance 4) no unusual shrieks

Yes, be careful, a white dude might just shoot you, thinking you're an animal, especially if you're up in a tree where you should not be, and is not expected to be, and where monkeys usually are
