Boycott Telkom Day

Huge fail. If you want to boycott Telkom cancel your account, destroy your, land line phone, forget about ADSL then you might actually affect Telkom otherwise you're just taking a cup of water from the ocean. You can't just half boycott something, that defeats the whole point of boycotting.

I got a better idea, telkom customer care is free right? everybody phone them in the same time span and demand LLU, call centers will go crazy, and telkom is playing for it all ;)

dude i just don't know.... phoning the call centre is already intense torture and you want us to flood call them :eek:

LOL, just chill there, you probably wont even get through, so leave the phone on your desk till you here "eh, helo? helo?" then make your demands

this reminds of the usual chain mail which keeps being recycled and flogged to boycott stuff - anyhow, not much point of a small handful of people boycotting 'em, as the drop in the ocean wouldn't be noticed (my 2 cents worth)
 
I think the idea isn't to bring Telkom to it's financial knees with this .. it's to start a campaign, name and shame, to raise awareness & get more people thinking & talking about demanding lower prices and better service. Probably more practical is to choose a specific day a month, less impact on actual business, and get the media behind it. Start a website. Viral marketing.

Consumers are not powerless if they stand together & make a loud noise.

Hmm... I would love to do this ._. Honestly I really would. But even if we could effect them. I dont think they could actually bring us the good service we want even if they had to lower prices ._. They just suck. It's something they cant do unless they have a WHOLE lot of extra money. Sure they have alot already Im positive on that. But I dont see them using it to provide better service.

Good idea, but I just dont see Telkom being able to provide better service ._.
 
If you don't like Telkom... why not boycott them completely? That is the only way you will see some genuine action.
