I got a better idea, telkom customer care is free right? everybody phone them in the same time span and demand LLU, call centers will go crazy, and telkom is playing for it all

What happens if you have a closer package for example and you already have free minutes/free calls included which are paid for already? So essentially by not using Telkom on that day you are screwing yourself over.

Also as much as you can say screw Telkom, since they are pretty much the telecom company in SA - if they don't make any money, they are even less likely to do anything to improve their services.

whatever you do, just don't sign a 24month contract with them bastids. As soon as LLU happens in 2011 you might have the ability to switch operators

I bought a wireless G adsl modem router for R350 at scoop, so its not worth signing the 24month contract with telscum just to get a free modem.. and they know they have u by the balls

If you don't like Telkom... why not boycott them completely? That is the only way you will see some genuine action.

You're pretty much screwing yourself anyway if you pay Telkom and don't use their service, even if it is just for one day.
