Braai paint

Can't see the image, but assuming its one of those pizza ovens ou stick in the fire. Would actually be interested to know how well they work cos I've contemplated one for a while but ended up with one of those gas pizza ovens instead that I'm going to build into a mini "outdoor kitchen" type thing.
Yeah I see images have died.

It's way more than a pizza box.

I'm sticking it "inside" the braai because it's massive to start with and I hardly braai anyway, but down the line with a kitchen remodel I may very well integrate it into the kitchen.

Common sense, logic and an IQ of 145

And besides that I know 2 people who's brick braais have just normal ceramic tiles on the inside walls, and both are still perfect after more than 10 years.
You forgot to mention what wood you use. Perhaps that's a bit too simple for your 145 IQ.

Can you find something similar on Google, for reference? I'm looking to do the same, but I'm yet to find a tile that doesn't burst or crack within 20 minutes.

First of all. My braai does not have tiles, so why must I say what wood I use?
Second, I am not a wannabe braaier, so I rarely use wood. Wood is for guys that lack braai skills and try to divert to their nice looking fire.

Will take pictures next time I visit them. I said the same to one guy years ago when I saw they upgraded braai area and tile inside. That its going to crack. And it never happened. Tiles look like normal cheap ceramic. I do think its important to either use some heat resistant silicon or some cement mix as grout that will give way for heat expansion. Tiles that lift or crack inside your house is mostly from the grout that does not give way when tiles expand.

Yeah definitely not bringing water or paint close to this.

After just using the brush and the amount of insane ash dust I can’t get to I’m ordering the vacuum right now.

Until now only ever use briquettes.

But good plan as I do that with my coffee pucks already so can mix them all together.
Not if you are using briquettes, those have been treated; only pure charcoal and wood ash.
