Posting from mobile, no idea why the 2nd picture keeps uploading upside down :p

Very nice. Had a few slices with todays lunch, used a sandwhich press for a good old toasted sarmie. I've also asked wifey to get me some pecks, feeling like having some on toast.

So, on doctors orders I decided to change my diet end of last year. Just smaller portions, and I cut out bread. So I lost quite a few kg's and in order to keep it off I now need to keep this up.

I also love burgers, rolls and all manner of other bread. What can I use as a substitute?

As an example I have not had pizza in two months, base is bread. What can I use as a substitute?
Perhaps you explained somewhere by why completely cut out bread? Why not have it in smaller portions, when you have it, and make that portion as delicious as you can!

so say you use about 100G of peanut butter per loaf and 6 eggs, are we really cutting out calories here? imo this is around ~1500/1600 calories, which is very similar to a loaf of albany brown bread? i guess better macros though maybe makes it worth it?

For the most part the idea of this loaf is not to cut calories, but to cut carbs. Carbs turn into sugar in your body, which a low carb diet tries to avoid. This loaf is mostly fat and protein.

Exactly. You will not lose fat by switching to this over regular bread. This is not better macros than bread, other than the benefits to insulin response to this instead of higher glycaemic index foods like regular white or brown bread.

You can however lose a lot of water retention by switching to this and cutting out the carbs. Low carb always leads to lots of water weight loss, which is deceiving because water weight looks a lot like fat when its on your body.

This PB bread looks amazing. Going to try it tomorrow.

Calories are calories at the end of the day...
