It is a bit of a meme that is going around. Something like this was bound to ruffle feathers. Instead of being actual liberals and respecting his choice, they complain about how this is a bad thing for this country.

Ok, fair enough konfab, you have a point, it would be window dressing, and an organisation such as Afriforum shouldn't have to implement the very things they fight against to gain more public support / a better image.

There will come a time in your country when people like you will want to have a "Afriforum" (or someone with integrity) who will watch over the dictators and corruption and and and. Guess what? Nobody will give a sheit. Because no one will be left. Look at the rest of Sub-Saharan Africa. You are getting there. Afriforum will slow down things but YOU are getting there. Wait for president Malema and then we talk again ....

I don't see any state or black civil institutions fight the blatant corruption, for example the PEU prepaid metering contract in Tshwane? That R4 million PER DAY that the now DA controller metro has to pay could rather been used on the poor and service delivery.
