Brian Molefe quits Eskom

Gees, that article is pure hogwash and yet illustrates another poor excuse for accountability and deflect responsibility. If colonialism is to blame, then by deduction Western Europe should also be afflicted with the scourge of corruption - after all, the imperialist Roman machine imposed their laws on all those they conquered and occupied.

:erm: Western Europe is afflicted with the scourge of corruption :wtf:

Here you go, compare Africa with western Europe countries. Come back and tell me which region is a scourge.

Simple litmus test for you - drive through Africa, record the number of corrupt encounters from border officials and police road blocks you experience. I needn't ask of you the same of Western Europe - you will know the answer, or at least ought to.

How exactly will resigning help him escape criminal charges?
The man's integrity has been compromised and he is doing exactly what he is supposed to do, it's what anyone who has a conscience does when caught in such a situation.

Notice I said trying I didn't see he was escaping them.

His resigning generally for soe's means the company won't pursue charges. At least in this country.

If he had a conscience he wouldn't have committed the crimes in the first place

JOHANNESBURG – Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane has told Eyewitness News that people should not start accusing those implicated in the state of capture report of being guilty until the matter goes through a judicial process....

Sounds perfectly reasonable to me.

Gupta TV in overdrive blaming Thuli and "big capital" for the loss of Molefe. They're like our very own Fox News.
