I have the same router as pokerking and couldn't figure out how to get it into half bridge mode. Followed pokerking's instructions and magic! It works!

Weird, after resetting to factory defaults (our dsl was down for a few days), my brother said he could still dial out, so I was like "Lol wuteva noob." I then disconnected the account on the router and dialed and...well...it worked

Ok, im pretty new at this. Read all the posts, and i can pretty much do all of it 2. BUT, what i dont understand yet is: How do you determin which is your local and which is your international account??

Ive got a 2Gig cap, Telkom, one account offcourse, so do i use the same username/passw for both local and Int??

In other words, how do you set your dailup to either use local or Int??

Any help will be much appreciated!!

You are unfortunately mildly misguided. You've basically got 1gig blended (intl + local access) and 1gig local-only. Your blended portion will deplete first regardless of what you're doing on the web, i.e. whether you're generating local OR international traffic.

Once your initial 1gig is depleted, you'll be into your 1gig local-only access. You can't use the local-only before using all your international first.

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but just had to address this. It is possible to use your local cap before your int. Yes, the method is a bit dodgy but it works nonetheless.

Guys, I've just helped my cousin setup things so that he can use RouteSentry v1.01 on his MEGA100WR (ATZME2) router.

Out the box, it seems that this router is already in half-bridge. i.e. We currently have the international account setup under > Advanced > WAN > Quickstart
and are connecting to a local account using a RASPPOE created dial up account, and then using Routesentry v1.01 to route the traffic accordingly.

Hence, no need to change the router to Bridge mode unless you have a specific reason for wanting to do so (security reasons or perhaps not wanting to share your bandwidth with anyone else connecting to the router )
