Bridge Connection on Telkom Mega 100WR

Um ok in the Mega 100WR interface, I go to Application, Advanced then to Bridge Filters?
Is this correct? Once here what do I do?

when I go WAN > quickstart
it gives me the polka account details
where do I bridge and enter the Openweb details?

You set the router to bridge mode, save config and log out.

You then create the different ISP accounts as dial-up accounts in My Network Connections > Create new > Internet connection > Manual > Broadband user/pass etc.

Since im using Vista I went Network and Sharing Center > Setup a Connection or Network > Connect to the Internet( setup a wireless, broadband, or dial-up connection to the internet > typed in the username + password etc etc..

Now It says I am connected to multiple networks
The Openweb connection + the Polka one..
Hmmmm...
But I didnt set the router to bridge mode...
When I set the router to bridge mode, does this mean everytime I switch on my PC i have to manually connect or will it connect automatically?

You sure you have a 100wr there, and not a 105wr? I do exactly as you describe, even down to the vista bit, and I can't get my spare 100wr to work. A 105wr? No problem. But not the 100wr. Would love to know so that I can get mine working as a spare in 1/2 bridge mode.

My router is labeled Telkom Mega 100WR
When I went to my router page - It opens in Basic Home
Now on the right panel under Router Information what model does it state?
In my case it states Mega 100WR2? Maybe it updated itself? I actually have no clue what-so-ever..

But what I did then is I went Advanced > WAN > quickstart > under type I selected Bridge > Clicked Apply > Top left side I clicked Save Settings.
I exited my browser.

Ok..
Now I went to Network and Sharing Center > Setup a connection or network > Connect to the Internet( setup a wireless, broadband, or dial-up connection to the internet) > Broadband (PPPoE) > Username ; Password; Name of Connection > Ok.

Then it connected for me.. I placed a shortcut to the connection on my desktop.. Entered the connection page > Properties > Options tab > Deselected Prompt for name and password etc so that all I have to do when I start up is double click the connection on my desktop and it automatically connects for me..

Hope this helps:)

OK. Have figured it out. You obviously have the mega100wr2. It apparently does 1/2 bridge mode. I have the Telkom Closer modem, which is the first generation of the 100wr. It does not do 1/2 bridge: only route OR bridge. It's serial number is azt-something, and according to the 2C Telecoms website cannot be upgraded with the mega100wr2's firmware. I seem to remember trying and that's how I bricked the thing in the first place. So back in the box and on the shelf it goes as my emergency spare. Thanks for the replies.

I have the same router as pokerking and couldn't figure out how to get it into half bridge mode. Followed pokerking's instructions and magic! It works!
