Why not just outsource the whole country's workforce to India? Then you can claim 100% AA levels. While you're busy organizing work visa's, why not work with countries like Canada, Australia, New Zeeland and the UK, to take all of the unemployable people in this country?

Cape Town - A professor at the University of Cape Town (UCT) was killed by a single shot to his chest a few metres from his home.

Professor Kevin Rochford, 64, originally from Australia, survived a previous attack when he was attacked in his home a few years ago by axe-wielding robbers.

Isnt this "Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka" the one and only who went on a R500k "crane watching"(tax payer holiday) in Dubai a few year back? And wasn't she the the Minister of Minerals and Energy at the time who ignored Eskom's cry for help in 1998?

I get bit confused - at least I go to sleep earlier and grow cleverer!
 
The fundamentals are wrong in SA and that is why there are skilled people leaving the country. It is not those fundamentals that are still wrong that are magically going to bring them back. Not from first world countries at least. :(

1) yeah i earn 50k gbp a year. im gonna come to SA and earn R200k a year. aint gonna happen.
2) im gonna leave my safe first world country and come to your shoddy place where 50 ppl a day + die
3) Im gonna leave my 100 mb line thats uncapped and unshapped and come get me some of that 384 kb action

so im sorry but dream on.

From one reason or anther the ANC ,like other parties in Africa ,think that people are eager to come to their country . BIG MISTAKE . Max "bring in the Cubans ".
 
For the same reason those engineers take jobs in Iraq and other high risk countries, $$$$, you are right they wont wanna come for 200k but offer then 3 times that and they will, only thing is we will be coughing up the extra money to pay them .

1. I'm keen to know which career(s) have people earning 50K/yr in pounds with SA, in return, offering 200K a year?

2. Makes a lot of sense.

Firstly - remember the Rand is worth almost the same as Zim dollar to the outside (first world) countries... 50k pounds a year equates to R800k! :eek:

Secondly - at the price you're paying for those "imported" skills - you could have given 2-4 people decent jobs... Sorry let me re-phrase:
you could have given 2-4 South Africans and their families a decent life!

On another note: 100MB uncapped?? Sounds like heaven!!!!
