I followed advice here on this forum with same issue. Download latest VLC. Use it to download the subs for this show. It worked for me. I think it was OrbitalDawn that helped me with this....

Thanks for reminding me. I've been travelling a bit and forgot I had watched this on iPlayer. Downloading episode 2 and 3 now :p

Shall be trying Safe House tonight.

I read the book about ten years ago... and I am LOVING this BBC series!
Just finished episode 4 tonight.
It starts off slow, but please give it some time!
It's worth it, trust me!

Completely agree. I've watched up to episode 3, need to get 4 tonight.

Edit: I've been walking about shouting 'Misterr Naw-Relll' for the last few days now.
