I remember my mother writing to Gerald Durrell to ask for help on a Cub Scout project and we even received a lovely reply. We had one of his books as a set-work at school.

Currently in nostalgia mode.
Watching the 12 Inspector Dalgleish tv adaptions which started with Death of an Expert Witness in 1983.
The square pic is not noticeable as the storyline is constantly absorbing - Roy Marsden is perfect.

Not amused...
Robson Green is brilliant. Loved him on his fishing trips and challenges. This also looks very interesting. Looks like a once off though?

Watched Billionaire Boy on the flight over, absolutely canned myself laughing. Great one to watch with the kids.

The Secret
The Secret is the story of a real-life double murder. James Nesbitt plays Colin Howell, a respectable dentist and pillar of the community, who became a killer in partnership with a Sunday school teacher, Hazel Buchanan, played by Genevieve O'Reilly.
Starts 29 April 2016

Mr Nesbitt is getting a lot of work these days.

I thought so as well but looking at his filmography he did nothing in 2015.
Seems odd :erm:

I could do with more of David Tennant.
Stan Lee's Lucky Man?

I know when it aired… I'm pretty sure what he was doing in 2015 was making it? Given that season 2 will only be available in 2017.

Happened upon "Dara O'Briain: Live at the Theatre Royal" on Showmax last night - don't think I've laughed so much in ages.
Seems to date back to a 2006 tour, couldn't find it on my usual UK trackers but google shows a couple of links - otherwise it's worth the R99 admission to Showmax for this month if you're into his type of humour.

The Durrells is quite delightful.
Keeley Hawes is well cast as are the rest of the Durrell family and the locals.
