Another gripping mini-series from BBC.

Twists and turns in the Highlands.

Looked promising until...

One Of Us explores the fallout for the grieving relatives, and the dark consequences that threaten to shatter their lives.

I dunno if it's just me, but these dramas that focus on the families grief are not great to watch. If I want a good cry, I'll watch Scotland play rugby.

It doesn't play on the family grief - focuses more on the individuals none of whom are as they appear.

I quite enjoyed it. Ignore the family grief thing. It's just a good old-fashioned Brit thriller. Not the greatest ever made, but good.

Ok, might give it a bash then. I do like Ade Edmondson so it will be good to see him in a straight acting role.

I re-watched series 1 and 2 of Whitechapel this week to set me up for series 3 which I haven't watched before. Great stuff, especially Phil Davis and his old school policing take no schit style.

Breaking the rules here, I know, but there's a Canadian cop show called Cardinal that I've just watched S1 of... pretty riveting and a bit gruesome in places but definitely worth a watch. I guess the Canadians are more British than the Americans :D

I have enjoyed "Fearless". The sixth (and final) episode is next week.

Ditto "The Loch": also the sixth (and final) episode next week.
