I'd watch Keeley Hawes if she was in a series with Barney the dinosaur and Mamma June Shannon.
Just watched episode 1 and it looks like it could be the best UK series of it's kind since Spooks IMO. Episode 1 was riveting.
Two of six episodes up.
You know, I found it utterly uninspiring. I love Keeley Hawes which is why I watched this but my wife and I were wondering where the show was going. No direction really and the first episode didn't even end leaving us in suspense.
I'll keep watching (to see Keeley) and hopefully it improves.
Sanjeev Bhaskar is on flexible actor IMO. And Nicola Walker is definitely one of our favs.I've binged 3 seasons of Unforgotten and absolutely loved it. First 2 seasons are on Netflix and season 3 is on ITV hub.
Seemed clear to me it was going to be an uphill battle between his professional person and his personal ideas... having to defend her while remaining professional as he was trained while putting up with her crap. Clearly their relationship is going to be explosive one way or another. His character, while highly capable at work is falling apart at home. Anyway, lets see where it goes.
Edit your reply then we'll be good.
Eish. I edited my post to remove the spoiler but you need to do the same to your post which has my post quoted.
Strike was pretty good.Strike is a British television crime drama series, based on the detective novels written by J. K. Rowling, under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith.
Really enjoyable series, but JKR has to write faster as they only making the TV Series based on her books and she has only written 3 so far.
And I heard the Bodyguard thing got steamy too.Vanity Fair started last night on ITV and I absolutely loved it. So unlike anything I’ve ever seen, it’s just brilliant. 2 episodes available on the ITV hub.
The Bodyguard has been pretty much action for the first two. Definitely not a chick flick though it has it's bits. And I heard the Bodyguard thing got steamy too.
You watching that as well, or is it very chickflicky?
