This is superb thank you sir! Just spent the last 30 minutes queueing stuff and only got through the first list. Had no idea there were so many Brit cop dramas I hadn’t seen!

Glad you like it. I came across it purely by chance. The author seems to be quite an interesting guy.

I've seen about 90% of the Police Detectives list - almost all top-notch.

Unfortunately many of the older series are virtually impossible to find anymore - Taggart, Dalziel & Pascoe are two of them

The PD James Inspector Dalgleish series needs a lot of hunting for.

This looks like complete crap but I'm sure the teenagers will get all giddy over this.

Brand new British musical comedy horror Anna And The Apocalypse sees a zombie infestation break out at Christmas.

If you get the STV app and use a Scottish postcode, you will get 150 odd episodes of Taggart and all episodes of Rebus.

For those interested, STV is the Scottish branch of ITV and has a different catch up app with some box era such as those mentioned. You can get the app on Fire tv and Roku or just in your browser.

Of course you need a VPN or DNS settings etc.

Couldn't even guess how many times I watch The Young Ones - recently watched the documentary How The Young Ones Changed Comedy.

Anarchic humour at it's best..... and then there was Bottom.

something to look out for if you're into WW2: https://variety.com/2018/tv/global/helen-hunt-joins-bbc-world-war-ii-drama-world-on-fire-1202975159/

Oscar-winner Helen Hunt has joined “World on Fire,” the upcoming World War II drama for the BBC. She takes a lead role alongside Lesley Manville (“Phantom Thread”) in the drama from Peter Bowker (“The A Word”). ITV-backed production company Mammoth Screen is producing.
The seven-part series tells the story of the first year of the war as seen through the eyes ordinary people from from Britain, Poland, France, Germany and the U.S.
Jonah Hauer-King (“Howard’s End”) and Julia Brown (“The Last Kingdom”) will also star in the series, which has a varied international cast. New names added alongside Hunt include Zofia Wichłacz (“Warsaw 44”), Brian J. Smith (“Sense8”), Tomasz Kot (“Cold War”), and Eugenie Derouand (“Genius”).
Filming starts this week in Prague. The Shoot will also take in Manchester, London, Paris and Berlin.
Damien Timmer, Mammoth Screen managing director, said the series “pieces together World War II with Pete’s characteristic irreverence and humanity.” He added: “From the siege of Warsaw, to Dunkirk, the fall of Paris and the battle of Britain, here is an epic story told on a human scale, with a truly international cast.”

Strange how some disappear for years then all of a sudden there they are again - Sissy Spacek, Sally Field...
Work for actors like these are limited, but they have a few directors or producers that always call on them when they have new projects.

I think SK is a big Spacek fan AFAIK...
