Long story short my daughter dropped my wife's iPhone 5S in the bath last night.
No drama it was still working but I stripped it quickly anyway to clean up any corrosion and decided I might as well replace the screen which I bought two years ago for it to sort the crack down the front out.
Do the entire job of transferring front camera, proximity sensor and speaker, home button all that drama only to want to put it back together and realise they sent me the bloody wrong LCD which has a different connector.
As if the heart surgery of keeping a working phone working wasn't enough.
So if anyone has an iPhone 5C with a broken screen they aren't using that's lying in a drawer somewhere please let me know as I would like to experiment and see if I can fix it.
Don't really want to pay money for it and then have it still not work so maybe we can work something out like I pay you for it if I fix it...or even maybe you pay me and I send it back to you working?
