Browser usage stats - June 2011

Has Microsoft been able to reclaim lost market share with Internet Explorer 9? Does Google Chrome show any signs of slowing down? How has Opera and Firefox fared in the fight?

Opera is my favourite browser. So many little awesome features that the big boys just copy.

One third of people who visit MyBroadband are still using Internet Explorer???

We have failed my friends. :(

I have plain vanilla Opera installed... and it is blazing fast.
But I use Firefox for pretty much everyday usage.
Getting into Opera though is like jumping into the Bugatti and taking it out for a spin! :D

It's a good feeling to be part of the MyBB community...peoplke who're passionate about tech and who use Firefox and Chrome in such high numbers...warms my heart really :-)

IE disgusts me something terrible. Right on point @ Garyvdh...perhaps we have failed in evangelising the masses :-)

I would bet most of the IE stats come from people that are you using company pc's where they don't have a say.

Love my Opera! I've tried the rest, but always come back to the warm embrace of the Norwegians.
Their new webmail is cool too. Opera does have the occasional conniption fit with Twitter & gmail.

Nothing is better than IE6, after IE6 all the browsers are bloated and full of rubbish, IE6 is simple and easy to use, works are every website and has the best privacy and security, I recommend it to all my friends and family.

Ahhhh another article for FireFox and Chrome users to vent their frustrations on the happy IE9 users.

Dude you need to catch up seriously.

Nobody, except me really cares to comment on your very bad taste in humour. I'm sure you also do online transactions with peace of mind and aren't' susceptible to phishing scams with your shiny IE6 browser. ;)

No wonder you've got an i5 with 4GB of ram...to power your BEAST of a browser. :D

Opera at home with turbo on to save me some precious and expensive MB
Firefox at work.
IE is so f#cked, with menus and toolbars and icons moving all over the place with every new release.
Besides after I had printing problems from IE I am so just using Firefox.
Only use IE when i get to a site that was designed by some moron who only cater for IE.

Agreed Nothing is better than IE6 as in I would prefer to do nothing than have to use IE6.
