Buffalo Logistics/Banggood and Customs

Got all my stuff yesterday afternoon. Total customs time was just under 3 weeks.
 
Package status : Released by CBCU

what's the wait like after the package is out of customs?

Takes a day or two to get to the warehouse, then another day or two to get to you. It varies. I generally send them a whatsapp a day after released by CBCU, usually I get an SMS right after that it's out for delivery

Latest update : Your parcel is currently in transit between our 'Johannesburg' and 'Cape Town' depots.

mine got cleared today.......hope i can get it for the weekend.....but it'll probably be Monday.
Did anyone ever try to pick the parcel up from the warehouse?
 
Hi Guys

Anyone perhaps know why all of a sudden our parcels are "detained" Customs?
Buying for over three years from Banggood...
 
I managed to get a response from Buffalo on the WA.

Good day apologies for the delayed response, Although your parcel has cleared through customs, the Customs Border Control Unit have stopped this consignment for a routine physical inspection. A consignment is made up of bags, on average between 14 – 25 bags, which may consist of about 800 – 1000 smaller parcels and your parcel is one of them. Our clearing agents are in the process of submitting the documents required in order to get the consignment released and we will advise as soon as we have any further feedback. Unfortunately the inspection can take ±10 - 15 working days to complete, so delivery of your parcel will be delayed until we receive the release from Customs.
We thank you for your patience and understanding.
 
I got that very same canned response a few weeks back for stuff that was stuck.
 
So due to stock delays on banggood, doesn't look like i'll be getting my camera in time for my holiday.

did anyone try to change the delivery address with buffalo? i don't think they would mind, and i dont even mind adding a bit of money for the extra delivery but they do not respond to any support requests.

I'm trying but no luck yet not getting response via email.. but I see my parcel is now with fastway couriers so ile call them in the morning to use my secondary address

They are willing to change address, by the time I called the parcel was with the driver at 6:30 already so couldn't do any changes

What number do you WhatsApp them on?
I've got 3 parcels all "inbound manifest to hub" for 3 days now...

081 388 6570, they never really answer but it does seem to get things in motion again
