Must admit I thoroughly enjoyed overclocking the 7600k, took me back to Athlon days.

I have a 120mm fan from my old power supply, is it advisable to use it for my case. I see that it has a 2 pin connector whereas the other fans in my case have a 3 pin.

What frequency/ gHz are you getting?

I'm still using my 2600k oc'd to 4.6gHz stable for donkey years. My next upgrade should break 5gHz+ to make me happy lol

MSI A320 bazooka motherboard
Ryzen 1600x
250gb Samsung ssd
700w antec Power supply
Zotac Gtx 1080 mini
Redragon Yama mechanical keyboard
Gigabyte M6900 laser mouse.

Legacy support is on.

Don't have a ps/2 keyboard and mouse. I've asked a friend if he has at least the keyboard.

Random question: your hardware is awesome, but why did you skimp on the chipset, and not go for at least the 350?

Thanks.

Got it coz it has 4 ram slots and I pic e slot. I'm not a fan of sli.

I saved a bit of cash with each component that I bought which meant I was able to consider getting 250gb ssd. Lol.

You're using the back USB ports correct?
Try a USB 2.0 port.

Speak subject to correction, but I recall that at a stage Win 7 wasn't supported by Ryzen, or any of its hardware partners for the Ryzen mobos. Long shot, but you wouldn't be able to have a copy of Win 10 lying around or at least borrow one to just test?

I'm looking to put in a D-Link DWA 548 PCIE adapter and that slot below my card is the only one available.

Would it be advisable to have the adapter so close to the fans of the GPU? Or should I just buy a USB wifi adapter?

If USB, then please suggest an inexpensive adapter that has good range, if possible.

Is that an old or a new case? If new, why did you remove the slot covers at the back? Dust is going to love your PC...

I wouldn't choke the GPU fans - if it was a blower card it wouldn't really matter, but those fans need to work optimally, and by that I mean suck in a lot of cool air.

I'll leave the USB recommendation to someone else, as I currently use a PCIE card for WiFi.

It's an old case. I wanna get a new case. Don't have the cash for one now though.
