Building new PC..is this ok?

Unless you need the additional PCI slots don't worry about it. uATX is just a shorter version of ATX in one direction. 244 mm x 244 mm vs 305 mm × 244 mm
It fits a ATX case just fine and everyhting lines up like it does on a full size ATX board.

Any full ATX capable case will be able to take a micro ATX board You will have less PCI slots is all (usually 4 instead of 7)

Whoohoo! Got my parts from Rebel Tech today. (Brilliant prices and service). Opted for Corsair 2x4GB Vengeance RAM. Now Engineering test week just needs to end to actually enjoy the difference. Had a 2.2 GHz Core 2 Duo! Anyone know where I can find a old, smallish case for all my old parts? Want to set up a small server for the house.

Lol. I used to be the same back in the day, had to be a full board and top of the range. It's a waste of money though (they cost a lot more) as you never use all those PCI slots. Only ever used one at most besides the PCIe for the GPU.

Don't worry about the brand, its a reference design so it is identical to any other reference design.

If you are concerned however, you can go for Club3d, which is reasonably well known. I have a Club3d 6870 and no problems at all

I would go for a 23.x size screen, LED back-lit or if budget allow proper LED. I would look for a bargain. There are always a promotion somewhere.

Drop the i5 2500S and go for the i5 2500 or i5 2500K. If you can afford the 2500k, then make sure that you get a P67 chipset motherboard too.

Thx Mega I'll have a dig around for one. I like samsung so will check out what they got.

Drop the i5 2500S and go for the i5 2500 or i5 2500K. If you can afford the 2500k, then make sure that you get a P67 chipset motherboard too.
