Bulldozer operators mow down SAPS van in a video taken this morning

THE situation at the Port entrance turned violent this morning, as police fired shots and contractors bulldozed down infrastructure – rolling a police van with the digger bin – at the main entrance.

Community members have been advised to stay away from the area, and employers there have sent staff home for their own safety.

That video was epic. Talk about bringing a knife to a gun fight. All the cops standing around like "Oh this isn't my problem". I was just waiting to see what happened when the one bulldozer almost took out the electricity box :D Pity he missed it.

There's a rep who works for a company I work with. Phones his boss at 3am - company car is totalled. Reckons he's "hit the danger". After much WTF and scratching of sleepy heads, his cryptic clues were finally deciphered...

And they can't shoot at the tyres - because there are protestors walking around behind the bulldozers.
If they risk shooting one of those protestors, they could be in big trouble.

Given that they are endangering the public and destroying infrastructure, you warn them to stop or they will be shot, then when they ignore you, you bring in a sharp shooter and shoot them.
 
At least with the diggers around and there is a massacre, you can bury all the bodies before the media show up!

Only kidding!

"we" have learned that thats the only way the government listens.

Its a sad state of reality.

Front-end loader. Also referred to a loading shovel.
