Bulldozer operators mow down SAPS van

"we" have learned that thats the only way the government listens.

Its a sad state of reality.

Yes, and who is going to repair the damage caused? Nobody. And in the unlikely event that someone actually repairs it, who's going to pay for it?

Surely these FEL operators will be arrested, then lose their pension jobs and generally screw up their lives.
What needs more publicity is the outcome of these arrests so it can be shown it is not worthwhile to be an *******.

If any of the previous protests are to go by, NOTHING will come of this except the protestors getting what they want.

Shouldn't the police respond to all events with riot control measures?

Maybe a heavy tear gas and smoke grenades would have helped? Just wondering...

Unions have had the ANC by the short and curlies for ages...not sure I see that changing with Ramaphosa courting COSATU vigorously.

When I worked on the construction of the Kusile Power station, they had massive strikes, destroyed vehicles, offices and so forth.

We fired all the labour. A month later every single person was re-hired. The unions used political influence, our hands were tied.
