The Bulls do it again!!

Bulls: 30 WP: 22

Sticky this thread already Mod!!

OP DIE BLOU!!

Lol, I have asked a number of times... They don't seem to want to.

well played bulls, the curie cup is getting a little bit better to watch.

Aye we suffered a bit in the scrums but the winning habit pulled this through for us :)

Lol, don't worry we meet again on Newlands... (we will then have our boks back ) :D

Hats off to the young Brummer. Well done for stepping up from the Junior level to play a great game at CC level.

EDIT: The sky is falling!

After about 3-4 months of asking about 6-8 tims for this thread to be stickied, it has!

Woot thanks mods :D

Man I tell you, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. They really impressed, we have a well of new talent (A lot of players I did not recognize at all).

The ref did try his best to keep WP in the game, but in the end the bulls won, wonder if stegman will be ready for this weekend, he could proof invaluable.

But again, congrats to the bulls, I was a worried man Saturday, but victory is ours!!

Lol, yeah we were the underdogs.

But luckly the BBRU has got the right structures in place and the talent is coming through nicely.

We must have a look at our scrums as that was not on par but the backline did really well and we defended like lions(not the golden lions....they suck :p).

I don't agree with that...

Wynand Olivier has been called up to the Boks! [more here]

Now I really hope that Stegman and Pedrie will play this weekend because a well can be only so deep...

w00t w00t for the sticky!

Hilarity = all the Bulls arbs phoning in on Superrugby and saying how everyone must accept that the Bulls are the best ........... 1) How ridiculously arrogant and the best one 2) THE SHARKS HAVE THE CC, NOT THE BULLS ;)

Lol, yeah and the shark supporters don't do the same?

Ps Stats wise we are the best franchise by a mile in SA ;)

Exactly what I was saying in the Sharks thread moegoe :p For the Bulls to lose so many players to injury and the Boks is nothing because there are about 7 Bulls teams milling about Pretoria at any given time (yes, I hate that fact). With us, not so much ...... but ons sal maar sien :D

Lol, you guys are getting better with creating the sharks academy and the junior development teams. We just had about 5-10 years on you with that thus we are abit further along :p:D

And we took your scalp DESPITE that ass Lawrence ....... the blinkers you gave him didn't do enough huh.

but.... you don't win the currie cup in july, so enjoy it! [for now ;)]

Who cares about winning the Currie Cup, we beat the Bulls which will give us more than enough ammo for the next few weeks!! It reminds me of the slack we took when we lost to Province.... makes today even sweeter! ;)

we are ok with the cc being with you guys, we've got the S14... ;) :p

You guys really need to learn to perform in both competitions or do you battle when you don't have you few stars. We run our fourth choice flyhalf against you, play with 14 men for 30 minutes, use our third choice captain and still win! :)

Really? stern rugby supporter i see....

ok... lets look at the last 10 years in currie cup competitions:

Currie Cup
1999 Lions
2000 Western Province
2001 Western Province
2002 Blue Bulls
2003 Blue Bulls
2004 Blue Bulls
2005 Cheetahs (defeated Blue Bulls)
2006 Cheetahs/Blue Bulls
2007 Cheetahs (defeated Lions)
2008 Sharks (defeated Blue Bulls)

So we're not performing in the currie cup?

onto the super 14, and the amount of times teams won....

Crusaders - 7
Blues - 3
Brumbies - 2
Bulls - 2
Sharks - 0

sorry dude, your argument is flawed.....

o, and we also used a "3rd" Choice flyhalf, and had 13 changes in the team that played in the final last year.... would be interesting if you took all the bulls caps vs sharks caps.... we did not have a very experience team....

but enjoy your moment - "big moment" for you !!!!

we'll talk again in the "business end" of the Currie Cup
