Bulls rock Thread

Really? stern rugby supporter i see....

....

we'll talk again in the "business end" of the Currie Cup

Ha ha ha pathetic but expected.... never attempt to take the piss out of a Bulls supporter, as they are all too quick to do to any other supporter, as they will no doubt go back and check every statistic for the last hundred years and attempt a come back!

Have you ever heard the saying that you are only as good as your last game? Well then the Sharks are better than the Bulls! Must be shameful losing to the Sharks after even WP beat us (as you guys - and I mean Bulls supporters before you get defensive and claim you personally didn't - were all to happy to repeatedly point out for a week!). If you give, then be prepared to take...

Oh and they also take to quoting you out of context, with that first line, to make their point.... Perhaps you should pose that question to the Bulls fans who keep saying that it does not matter that the Sharks have the Currie Cup as the Bulls have the Super 14... they don't seem like true rugby fans...

Who are you going to blame for this loss?

Why do you always need to blame someone if you loose? Sometimes you win, sometimes you loose... To be the best, you must be able to loose sometimes...

Lance Amstrong said:
"I'm realistic, I did everything I could," he said. "For me, and even more for my kids, it's probably a healthy thing for them to see, because they saw their dad that never lost, and the kids in their class (say) 'your dad never loses,' so it's good for them to see dad get third and still be cool with that and still be happy."...

Was too tired on friday to even watch the game, stupid working late!!! But am glad I did not, congrats to the sharks for the win, see ya on loftus next time mwhahahahahahahaha

No one. We lost. It happens ;) Ask the sharks :p:D

Fact of the matter is the sharks out played us in every aspect on friday night.

Congrats :)

Don't worry we didn't play all that well. I am tempted to say that because of the lack of experience we did not know how to handle some of the finer points but that is not fair, I must say however that if this is our "youngest" (IIRC 8 of the player are under 21) team im confidant that we will be a major force in CC and S14 for many years to come :)

So true. Our last game we beat the All Blacks after the sharks threw away 12 points...:p

Friday's game was terrible. The one TV commentator said that the game was available for whoever wanted to win it. He was wrong - it was available for whichever team least wanted to lose. You get some matches with a winner and a loser - like Sat - SA won, NZ lost. Then you get matches where both teams play so well, that you get a winner and a second place. A great example was the S14 Bulls-Cheetahs, where the Cheetahs did not lose as much as they came second. They certainly played very well on the day.

Then you get games like Friday, where you have a loser and a first place. Bulls were losers, Sharks took first place. Games like that really are scrappy. But like it has been said before - let's wait for the business end of this clash. So glad we played this away match now and lost rather like last year when we played it in late September and lost.

Its a shame about potgieter, jeez wannenberg, stegman and potgieter would be a killer combination, but am glad stegman is back as well as mr Wannenberg

Yeah but potgieter being in the form of his life is a heavy loss. The man is becoming a Machine and I firmly believe him and Brussouw will be the flankers for the boks in about 2-3 years :)

Yes... another excellent product of the Eastern Cape schooling system!

Yeah most guys get the talent(s) at other provinces' school systems and then come train here to get that edge over the rest of the world ;)

And the local boys who stick around (like fourie du preeze) become the best in the world without a shadow of a doubt :)

Also they meet similiar people of great talent there and form the best combos in the world (victor and bakkies). :D

Score, please?

Bulls 50 - Cavaliers 18

Good performance by the bulls. Now we need to beat the cheetahs and we won 3/4 big games.

Bulls better win tomorrow!

Damn the cheetahs are wounded and I don't feel confident at all :o

But we got a couple of injured players back although we will miss Potgieter, who imo is one of the guys thats going to help build the future of SA rugby.
