So have I - fallen over drunk, that is. Once, it was at the end of October and the other time it was the end of May. Both times, at Loftus - but I believe I had good reason.

And this is the thing: we are all human. And recently, the BBRU has suffered some exposure of the human side of our players. This sucks, but it needs to be dealt with positively. I am sure that 1 in 30 professionals has probably abused various substances at some point in their lives. Why should these guys somehow be any different? Because they are in the public eye? I don't buy that. In fact, this may be a contributing factor.

I wish Pedre well and hope he now knows he has to begin his recovery.

I say, well done to the BBRU for protecting their players.

Yes I did see Mr Van Graan (IIRC?) state that they have the rights to it etc etc... why the fsck can they not just leave it alone? The gauteng north sports body is one of the most succesful in the country (if not THE most).

Gouverment logic - it is not broken so let us fix it instead of fixing the stuff that is broken :mad:

Maybe they are aiming for the ailing BaK@k@ supporters. Let see what happens when the revenue drops.

Well Gents, S14 is around the corner & I cannot wait. I am hoping the Bulls have another great season. It's a pity about Bakkies though as I feel his sometimes "dirty" play actually keeps some of the opposition forwards mind of the game when it takes place. :) I don't think he will be out as long as they say though.

Yeah yeah, I like a little dirty, who else doesn't! ;)

Some good guys have left Lions & if they didn't with the addition of Carlos Spencer for 2010 & 2011, I think they would have had their BEST S14 yet. Not anymore though. I was really looking forward to Problems & Lions doing much better & picking it up a notch this S14.

Looking forward to those early Sat morning games when your day starts off with some alcohol & a decent breakfast!!

Yip + 1 on the booze and the breakfast :D

But I doubt if the bulls will amke such a strong claim as last year as we will not be playing at loftus as I understand it and a couple of our players are in need of a "lighter season" to be spared for the WC next year.

But I am a true blue and I am looking forward to see some of the players develop like van der heever and hougaard as well as the young lock who's name escapes me now. :D
 
We have got some younger talent & maybe Habanna leaving is not such a bad thing. Sometimes one good guy needs to leave to make another 2 or 3 good players step up.
