The coach of the SA Under 20 team Eric Sauls has invited eleven Vodacom Blue Bulls players to attend a training camp which will take place in Cape Town from 19-27 January.
The Bulls’ Clayton Blommetjies (wing/fullback), Sampie Mastriet (wing), Ernst Dinkelmann (centre), Andries Ferreira (lock), CJ Stander (number 8), Mlungisi Bali (lock), Vincent Koch (prop)and Branco du Preez (centre) are the senior players that have been invited with Lohan Jacobs (scrumhalf), Lean Schwartz (flank)and Francois Venter (centre) who are still under 19.
Nico Serfontein (backline coach) will again be Sauls’ assistant with the Free State’s Pine Pienaar (forward coach) that has been included in the management team.
Both Serfontein and Pienaar has been tremendously successful at Under 21 and Vodacom Cup level and it is pleasing to see that their massive contribution to junior rugby has being awarded with a chance to prove themselves at this level.
