He will be a BB great. He is tall fast and bigger than most wings. Also he knows how to round off and is always looking for work.

Another plus is he can actually tackle :)

The Bulls have agreed to loan lock Wilhelm Steenkamp to the Sharks for the duration of the Super 14.

‘The Sharks are in need of a top class lock and we have released Wilhelm due to our depth in that position. We have no doubt that he will add value to the Sharks in their campaign,’ Bulls High Performance Manager Ian Schwartz said.

awesome!

It should happen more often .... funny how it's always been more the Sharks and Bulls who see the bigger picture than the other teams eh.

This should make you Bulls chaps chuckle -

Let’s for one moment talk about another team playing rugby in South Africa this weekend, the Brumbies, and in particular, their fullback with his foot so far in his mouth his toes are making him gag.

This article might come back to bite me on Sunday evening but I am going with it anyway. I just spotted that Adam Ashley-Cooper was quoted as saying, “They (the Bulls) play such a parasitic game of footy, their game plan, they just rely on putting all the pressure on you and wait for you to slip up!”

Now hold on one second man. That is just fooooolish! You should already know that the Bulls, surrounded by 45000 spectators dressed in Blue who put rings through their noses for fun, have enough motivation for a game at Loftus Far’s Field. To start calling them parasites is asking for trouble. BEEEG TROUBLE. I do not want to be someone named Adam on Saturday afternoon.

So, point of this is, don’t be surprised to see Adam Ashley-Cooper hit so hard by a Pierre Spies, Danie Roussouw and Deon Stegmann club sandwich that he leaves Pretoria as Ashley Adam-Cooper. On top of Ashley’s sex change, the Bulls now have a scary overdose of motivation and come Saturday evening, we will see some well beaten Brumbies with tails firmly between their legs.

For future reference Ashley: Do. Not. Ever. EVER. Flag a parasitic red cape in front of an already motivated Bull, no matter what colour it is.

On a similar joyous note, I don’t think Australia will have one victory this weekend and XXXX sales around the world will plumit. That should put a smile on every South African supporter’s face and quite possibly the SAB management! With AA-C throwing the match against the Bulls, the other 6 teams I predict to triumph this weekend will be the Blues, Saders, Sharks, Chiefs, Canes and Stormers.

Waltz Matilda, Waltz.

Makes you wonder why we are the most succesful teams in S14 from SA :D

I have always been in favour of sending a player to go get experience at another team for a year or so if he is not going to get any game time in your own team.

Look at Jaques-Louis Potgieter playing for the cheetahs in the CC (he is a bull). Also Burton going to the lions.

Bloody high time the SA team managers see the bigger picture :D

BULLS BABES BANISHED

The Blue Bulls Company on Friday announced that the much-loved Bulls Babes will no longer perform at Loftus Versfeld until further notice.

The announcement comes in the wake of a legal dispute between the Bulls and the company charged with managing the cheerleading group over the ownership of the trademark BULLS BABES.

"Both parties have sought legal advice and correspondence has been exchanged between their attorneys," read a statement released on the Blue Bulls' website on Friday.

"There will be no performances by the Vodacom Bulls Babes until further notice from the BBC."

Loftus will now only sell 50% of the tickets they always did. :p

BullSShizzle ;)

People in Bloem go for the rugby.

I've been to both(Loftus & Bloem) and the Pom-Pom girls in Bloem are not that hot anyway.
The girls in the stands are another story...

But on a serious note. Have you checked how quick some of the guys pull out their binoculars when the girls get closer or do splits?

Did not see the game but read about 4 accounts of the game.

Sounds like Vd Heever is becoming a danger all on his own and as if our scrum is gearing up to be one of the best in the S14.

Danie Russouw should be fit again. Dewald Potgieter should also be fit to play this weekend. Victor was cleared of all charges. And Spies' injury was not as bad as thought and he should also be well enough to play this weekend :D

Also that new lock of the Bulls proved himself in the starting lineup... things are going well atm :D

The team is (with number of Super 14 caps): Zane Kirchner (29), Gerhard van den Heever (6), Stephan Dippenaar (4), Wynand Olivier (59), Francois Hougaard (6), Morné Steyn (61), Fourie du Preez (87, v/c), Danie Rossouw (90), Pedrie Wannenburg (100), Derick Kuün (44), Victor Matfield (97, c), Flip vd Merwe (8), Werner Kruger (30), Gary Botha (61), Gurthrö Steenkamp (54).

Replacements: Bandise Maku (10), Bees Roux (19), Deon Stegmann (27), Dewald Potgieter (19), Heini Adams (31), Jacques-Louis Potgieter (20), (John Mametsa (5)/Jaco van der Westhuyzen (47).

Spies is being rested as it is still early in the season and we have 3 other players that can do 8th man duties.

Would have liked to only have our "off" weekend in about another 2-4 weeks time but it is ok at least we are a good 30 player group.

Bulls 48 - Waratahs 38 :)
Had me worried there for a moment, but once again brilliant in the second half.

Albert Einstein arrives at a party and introduces himself to the first
person he sees and asks, "What is your IQ?" to which the man answers
"241."

"Excellent!," says Albert. "We will talk about the Grand Unification
Theory and the mysteries of the Universe. We will have much to discuss!"

Next Albert introduces himself to a woman and asks, "What is your IQ?"
To which the lady answers, "144."

"Great!" responds Albert. "We can discuss politics and current affairs.
We will have much to discuss!"

Albert goes to another gentleman and asks, "What is your IQ?" to which
the man answers, "16."

Albert responds, "Hoe gaan dit met die Blou Bulle?"

100% sure old albert would have been a bulls supporter as he believed in a "theory of everything" and we all know the Bulls are the only team that can do "everything" ;)
