Bulls rock Thread

Much as I'm not a Bulls supporter, I have not read anywhere that the Bulls have made Mapoe an offer. The article mentions "sources".

But then again, where there's smoke there's fire....

Give him to the sharks, the sharks need him more than the bulls :P

Yes but come on the man is worth more... 30 000 a month? If not the bulls some euro club...

I'm not sad or angered by the fact that he might(will) move.
He deserves better and the Bulls can offer him that.

But don't you think it will cost the Bulls less than R1.4mill to just get somebody to teach Hougaard and V d Heever to tackle :p

Bulls win 19 - 18 and it's getting tighter than a duck's backside out there. Starting to worry about their tour.

Lol :D They are a proper olden day wings :p:D

WeePee would take him, but we're saving up for Morne Steyn.

Yeah becoming a bit like Euro football now. Soon we will have transfer windows and all that.

Nha not too worried as Walsh will not ref every one of the four games we are playing on tour :p

In all seriousness the bulls underperformed but the momentum was not helped by the fact that walsh has no clue what offside means...

I didn't watch the match, but the report of it on news24 said that the ref didn't blow well and that in the end his whistle favoured the Bulls. But something should be done regarding the refs, they can really mess this up.

He did not give a penalty for one of the 2 or three up and under "mis-catches" from the canes that was then collected by a player infront of them.... i really mean wtf?

or the 3-4 times they collapsed the maul 5m from their own goal line, EVEN after warning them....

Sucks when the ref impedes your team huh ...... but I'll go now coz it's only us Sharks who ever blame the ref

Good on the Bulls for clinching the close one, you almost paid for being sleepy. Be more focused for your tour chaps.

Go read my first post again.... Really read the part where i said: "In all seriousness the bulls underperformed......"

We do not blame the ref for the close calls we are stating the mistakes he made. Walsh is an idiot... and no he did not hand us the S14 against you guys ;)

Wynand was on Jacaranda last Thursday. One of the questions that Darren Scott asked him was about why the teams we play against still manage to get high scores. He said it was something that they were working on. A while back (2003 I think) someone from the BULLS (Boet Fink I think but stand corrected) said that the BULLS will let you score tries - they'll just score more.

I think Friday's match was not complacency or poor performance more than it was a (failed) attempt to limit opposition score. When they score less, we score less. We need to rely on that winning formula. High scores, high margins. Simple as that. Bakkies will only be back after the tour (if at all) and that we have done so well without the meanest enforcer in modern rugby speaks volumes.

Despite my blind loyalty, I do not for one second suffer the illusion that we will win all of our tour games. We can, but that don't mean we will. If I were to call the final, right now, us vs stormers at Orlando. I do apologise to the Stormers and their fans for writing them off early in the season. They are proving me wrong and I couldn't be happier about it.

I do hope it is a Stormers/Bulls final - but at this moment I will be happy with a Stormers semi-final. It is just good to see your team going in an upwards trend. The Bulls have their own style of play and should play their game and not fold to what the popular from people is. The Bulls look good for another title.

Good to hear Fourie is fine to play on saturday :D

Also Pretorius is back in the nr 13 spot.

playing an australian team? check.
in australia? check.
with australian commentators? check.
with an all australian referee team? check.

this should be fun.
