Bakkies Botha has been cited for the dangerous clean out of Dewaldt Duvenhage.

Hearing will probably be on Tuesday.

I saw the tackle and think the citing is harsh, especially when you consider other off the ball incidents in the last 3 weeks.

Indeed. How the players got off the hook in the Stormers vs Highlanders Boxing match is a mystery on its own.

Biggest problem for Bakkies at the moment is his negative track record with disciplinary hearings and that will most certainly count against him.
I'm of the opinion that it was dangerous but not malicious and without intent. He simply bound to the player when he cleared the ruck and unfortunately they fell in such a way that almost broke poor Duvenhage in half. Duvenhage was not injured and went on to get Man-of-the-match.
 
Not guilty is the call.

According to Brenden Nel the hearing didn't last very long and the charge was dropped quickly.
 
he could have broken that guys neck he should have been penalized for that tackle.
 
I met a ex under 21 bull player in the box I was in,ok he had a very afrikaans accent but such a funny lekker oke :D

The mighty have fallen.The big-named Bokke seem to have run their race. Where have all the talented lighties gone from Pretoria? Bulls have always had an excellent youth setup, the ballies need to be replaced/retired soon...

The idea behind separate threads for each team is not to start a flaming war but to offer valid criticism or praise for that team.

Agreed. And at least the Bulls have actually won a few Super Rugby tournaments. But it must suck to support teams that haven't won it so the need to flame must be strong, try to draw attention away from the truth. being that most of the other SA teams suck more.

Which ones would make up your list of "most"?

Edit/ I've heard of politics being an issue at Loftus atm, may be a contributing factor in the bulls' performance of late.
